Developed over three years and drawing directly from Rockport’s decades of research into resonance control, driver behavior, cabinet construction, and acoustic wave launch, Orion is a loudspeaker of exceptional ambition.

Its entire enclosure is formed from just three principal structural components: a cast-aluminum inner housing, a carbon-fiber outer main housing, and a carbon-fiber baffle shell. Rockport’s DAMSTIF2™ construction eliminates conventional cabinet joinery and fasteners while combining extreme stiffness, mass, and damping.
