Overview

The R6 Arreté is designed for the demanding music lover who values dynamics and delicacy in equal measure. Its appeal is not simply the scale of a performance, but the emotional detail within it: the texture of a voice, the space around a piano and the energy that gives a recording life.

Imagine revisiting a treasured album and listening beyond the melody to the interplay between musicians. The R6 Arreté’s focus on natural presentation, depth and refinement makes an unhurried showroom audition the right way to explore its character.

Arreté Engineering

Arreté AMT tweeter. The R6 range includes Signature, Avantgarde and Arreté versions. The Arreté model uses the range’s most sophisticated AMT tweeter, with engineering focused on refinement and detail.

Rear-firing midrange. A rear-firing 3-inch midrange driver with its own dedicated crossover is designed to enhance realism and depth of field. This approach draws inspiration from Audiovector’s R11 Arreté and R8 Arreté designs.

Co-engineered drivers and crossovers. Audiovector develops its drivers in-house and works with a Danish supplier to build them, allowing the drive units and crossovers to be designed as a coordinated system.

Cabinet & Freedom Grounding

The R6 cabinet uses a teardrop form, a dense laminated rear baffle, substantial internal bracing and strategically placed Nano Pore damping plates. These features address unwanted cabinet resonance and internal standing waves.

Audiovector Freedom is an Arreté-specific grounding technology designed to address movement-induced currents between driver chassis. A dedicated filtering network provides a route to earth/ground, with the aim of reducing coloration and lowering the noise floor.

Ask Sunny’s about the appropriate Freedom connection and any required accessories for your installation. Follow the manufacturer’s connection instructions; do not improvise mains or grounding connections.
