The AQUILAR (origin from the ancient Latin “Aquila” – the eagle) offers many of the prime choice and expensive materials, as well as most of the unique technical key solutions that make the AXIOM’s performance easily stand heads above all competition.


To create an all-new superior 10″ tonearm design – which also should be easy to mount on all turntables thanks to the slightly reduced effective length.

Dedicated 3D Alignment Template

Each AQUILAR includes a customized 3D alignment tool designed specifically for this tonearm to ensure exact geometry and optimized cartridge setup.

HD18 Tungsten-Carbide Counterweight

A dense, non-resonant counterweight machined from HD18 tungsten carbide, providing inert mass and rock-solid tracking.

Titanium / Carbon Hybrid Arm Wand

A proprietary, non-resonant hybrid arm wand combining titanium and carbon for remarkable rigidity, speed, and tonal neutrality.

Independent Bearing-Plane Leveling

The bearing plane can be leveled independent of the turntable or armboard, guaranteeing mechanical integrity even on challenging plinth designs.

Full Mechanical Adjustability

At the headshell, users can adjust:

  • SRA – Stylus Rake Angle

  • VTA – Vertical Tracking Angle

  • Azimuth

  • Overhang

  • Offset Angle

This allows the cartridge to perform at its highest potential.

On-the-Fly Adjustments

  • VTA on-the-fly

  • Non-touch Magnetic Anti-Skating on-the-fly

  • Dynamic anti-skating that follows the tangential tracking curve

These refinements allow real-time adjustments while listening.

UNI-DIN Geometry

Designed around Dietrich Brakemeier’s UNI-DIN geometry, a proprietary system that drastically reduces inner-groove distortion and improves tracking accuracy across the entire record.
Only the AXIOM and the AQUILAR use authentic UNI-DIN geometry.

5N Pure Silver Litz Internal Wiring

The critical internal wiring is a single continuous run of fine 5N silver litz, preserving the most delicate musical information.

1. Direct-to-Phono Lead (1.2 m)

Choose RCA or Balanced XLR for direct connection to your phono stage.

2. Male DIN 5-Pole Connector
