Loudspeakers – Rockport Technologies Lyra

The Lyra is not merely a loudspeaker—it is the culmination of three years of development and over 30 years of engineering mastery at Rockport Technologies. As their new reference flagship, the Lyra represents the pinnacle of what’s possible in loudspeaker design, execution, and musical expression.

Crafted with obsessive precision, the Lyra embodies an unsurpassed combination of refinement, dynamic authority, and tonal coherence, made possible through groundbreaking innovations in materials science, driver technology, and enclosure design. Its cabinet is the most technically advanced Rockport has ever produced—an ultra-rigid, constrained-layer damped structure machined with aerospace tolerances. This acoustically inert platform allows the proprietary drivers to operate with exceptional clarity and control.

The Lyra features a waveguide-mounted beryllium dome tweeter, carbon fiber sandwich composite 6" midrange, and dual 9" bass drivers. A meticulously engineered crossover ensures absolute phase coherence and time alignment.

We employ a custom bi-wire version in a passive bi-amplified configuration using CH Precision M10 amplifiers, with full Global Feedback control—allowing damping factor adjustments for high and low frequencies independently. The result: effortless realism and absolute control.

Electronics – CH Precision 10 Series

The CH Precision 10 Series is the apex of Swiss high-end audio design—modular, fully dual-mono, and built with fanatical attention to precision. All units are true dual-chassis (audio circuit and independent power supply), ensuring maximum isolation and minimal noise coupling.

• M10 Dual Monaural Amplifiers (4-box configuration):
  Each amplifier uses modular gain stages, a user-adjustable global feedback topology, and an ultra-low impedance output stage. The damping factor, gain, and feedback ratio can all be tuned per loudspeaker—enabling total system optimization. Power output exceeds 300W per channel into 8Ω, doubling into 4Ω and beyond.

• L10 Preamplifier (2-box):
  Featuring discrete Class A circuitry, isolated signal paths, and selectable gain/feedback levels. It is among the quietest and most transparent preamplifiers ever made.

• P10 Phono Stage (2-box):
  With four fully balanced phono inputs, MM and MC support, and user-adjustable loading, gain, and EQ curves (RIAA, Decca, Columbia), the P10 is a reference-class analog front end for the most demanding vinyl setups.

All electronics are installed on HRS SXR and VXR audio stands, using M3X2 isolation platforms with G7 feet, ensuring ideal mechanical grounding and vibrational control.

Analog Playback – Acoustical Systems A*Stellar Turntable

The A*Stellar turntable from Acoustical Systems Germany is a no-compromise design born from decades of analog innovation. It features:

• A fully decoupled, multi-layer, non-resonant chassis built from aluminum, stainless steel, and elastomers

• A 250mm CNC-machined platter driven via a high-torque, precision-ground belt powered by an externally housed speed-regulated synchronous motor

• Zero-tolerance bearing system with hydrodynamic lubrication for silent rotation

• Dual armboards designed to host multiple tonearms simultaneously

Our A*Stellar is equipped with:

• Axiom 12" Reference Tonearm: One of the most accurate tangential-tracking pivot arms in existence, using Acoustical Systems' proprietary Alignment Geometry

• Aquilar 10" Tonearm: A perfect complement for high-energy MC cartridges, with ultra-low mass inertia and anti-resonant design

Cartridges:

• Lyra Etna SL Lambda: A world-renowned low-output MC cartridge with a titanium core and exquisite tracking performance

Digital Front-End – Wadax Reference Series

Wadax's Reference Series redefines the possibilities of digital playback, where cutting-edge technology meets soulful musicality.

• Wadax Reference DAC (3-chassis system):
  The main DAC is a discrete R2R architecture enhanced by Opto-Active technology and MusIC feed-forward error correction, producing a noise floor so low it rivals analog tape.
  Dual mono power supplies (left and right) provide galvanic and optical isolation from the main DAC chassis, reducing jitter and noise by orders of magnitude.

• Wadax Reference Server:
  A bespoke high-current music server integrating:

  • An ultra-low noise Roon core

  • 10TB of SSD storage

  • Custom clock and ground isolation

  • Optical Akasa connection to the DAC, providing complete electrical disconnection and ultra-high bandwidth

The Wadax system is housed on HRS SXR audio stands using M3X2 isolation platforms and broadband SF isolation feet, ensuring that every digital note is retrieved and reproduced with uncanny realism.

Support & Isolation – Harmonic Resolution Systems

Our system is fully grounded with a mix of HRS VXR and SXR Audio Stands, paired with M3X2 Isolation Platforms. Components are precisely matched with G7, LF and SF broadband isolation feet based on weight and resonance characteristics, eliminating microphonic distortion and improving low-level detail retrieval.

Cabling – AudioQuest Dragon Series

We deploy a full AudioQuest Dragon Series loom:
